All children can learn, they just learn in different ways and at different rates. I like to think that our class functions as a classroom family. I want them to learn and provide the teaching and activities to help them, but they help me by letting me know what they need to be successful. As a teacher, I like to compare myself to a performer. I need to present information in a way that is interesting and fun and the same time. While they can not change the channel, they can certainly stop engaging in the learning that is going on. I like for the students to show me what they are learning so students talking and interacting with eachother is very visible in our classroom. Students are very eager to learn and please, it's my job to find a way to connect to them so are more invested. I strive to build efficacy in my students. Your support is making my job easier.
