The materials I have requested will strengthen the area of science learning and exploration. My students' favorite learning material in the classroom are Magna-Tiles. The Color-Changing Light Table will increase the scope of their use and provide deeper learning about light and color. The Light Table Manipulative Center will be used during small group time to work on concepts in the areas of math and literacy. The kinetic sand will be utilized in the sensory table. This will give children the opportunity to create, explore physical properties and get their sensory needs met. Your generous donation to our project will improve our Pre-K classroom by expanding the possibilities of exploration and discovery. Students will learn about the life cycle of butterflies as we watch the process, right in our classroom. Many of the materials requested lend themselves to endless opportunities; such as, magnifiers, test tubes, tweezer tongs and sensory discovery tubes. Please help improve my students' lives' by providing them with new ways to have fun while learning about the world around them!
