We will be studying the ecosystems of the world and I want to immerse my students into those ecosystems as we learn. While they are in the Tundra of Alaska, they will be using the Kindle Fires to experience a virtual reality tour of the ice palaces. When they are researching deserts, I want them to find out about the people in California and Southern Nevada. Having these tech devices will transport my students into worlds that they can only dream of. After they complete their research, students will share their findings with their peers through videos, public service announcements, padlets, and other forms of social media. This class wants to think "outside of the box" and I am responsible for making that happen. These Kindle Fires will start them on their journey.
