Due to COVID-19 rise in our county we will start the school year with distance learning. First grade is a special time for students and requires hands on materials. In the past students shared materials in small groups and stations. Dice, letter tiles, cards, double sided counters, and connecting cubes were used to provide concrete instruction. I want to provide concrete, hands on learning to so students will still get this instruction during distance learning. Most of my parents work in the hospitality industry which has been severely hit during this time and will be unable to provide these materials during distance learning.

About my class
