My students need a non-traditional academic setting to grasp their attention and focus their learning. Many of them have not been successful in the traditional school setting. Project Ulupono accommodates the needs of these students by focusing on project based learning. This school year Project Ulupono will create a school garden. Students will be in charge of planning and carrying out the building of the garden and will also be in charge of the care-taking and up keep of the garden. These gardening tools and supplies will assist with the care-taking and up keep of their garden. Students will use them to build, plant and care for their garden.
