My students need a 3D printer to learn about and create figures from a computer screen in order to deepen their understanding and create parts to use for their robotic creations. A 3D printer is a critical component to include in my robotics classroom maker space which will promote a STEM-based education and student exploration. Hands-on experiences such as 3D-printing revolutionize learning by giving students opportunities to develop problem-solving skills, be innovative, and analyze outcomes. Students learn best while engaging in discovery and learning by doing as they figure out how to adjust accordingly, based on their experiments and designs.
