I teach a 7th to 8th grade loop in a dual-immersion (Spanish-English) classroom. Spanish-dominant and English-dominant students not only learn language and content from me but their peers as well. We are part of an urban, high-poverty school that specializes in the arts. Students spend 2 hours per day in their choice of classes. Due to cuts in Title I and Title III funding, classroom budgets have been set at $0 for the upcoming school year.

About my class
