All of these wonderful materials will be used by all students this year to make science as engaging as it meant to be! The Botley Coding Robots will enable students to use logic and reasoning skills to complete screen-free coding challenges. The energy sticks and snap circuits will allow students to investigate the workings of a circuit. Many of the materials will be used to create projects that are aligned with Mystery Science activities, such as flashlights using the LED lights and button batteries, and rubber band racers and telephones using the cups, lid, rubber bands, and the string.
With Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) occupations growing it is important to help the students develop their passion for learning in these areas.
I will be using these materials to complete activities that follow the new National Science Standards as well as to help students find success in the New York State Science Assessment.
