I am a huge advocate for using technology in education. I have a Master's Degree in technology and have learned the true significance that it can hold within a learning environment. If I can acquire these iPad minis, I will have students use headphones to listen to interactive audiobooks, play fast-paced games that will test their math facts, record videos of their personal literature responses, design and create multi-step projects, use word study applications in fluency centers, and of course, practice their typing skills. Above all, this technology can take my class’ level of engagement to a higher level while also assisting me in providing better differentiated instruction. If I can provide my students with this technology tool, it will be their first step in a long journey with technology in education. My students’ education will improve immensely while they have fun becoming fluent technology-users. With this resource in my classroom, there will be endless possibilities and endless learning.
