Research has shown that when students are given choice in the classroom engagement and learning increases. I am working towards creating a classroom where students will have be given a choice from how/where they sit and different methods of learning (a tablet, a center, meeting with the teacher, or working with a peer). My students and I are asking for funding to assist us on our way to our personalized learning goal. For this Donors Choose Project we would are in need of lap desks, a ball chair, swivel rocker chairs and bean bag cushions to help our reading corner and independent work area. A small table for group work. Also, we would like to get a cart with individual work bins to help keep our work and folders organized. Please consider donating to our future!
