I am a behavioral teacher at a low socio-economic elementary school. I serve students from kindergarten to fifth grade. I have students with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), and many other disorders, however, they are in general education classrooms but need those behavioral supports. I have five years of behavior experience and understand the importance of teaching the student not the curriculum. I am trying to spearhead different interventions for my students when they get back into their general education class as well as for other general education students to prevent them from coming into my classroom.
