My classroom strives to integrate the common goal of building a functioning robot with strong teamwork to advance students knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math and have fun doing it! Besides the in class work that is done we also reach out to the community to promote STEAM through public service and workshops. We also work with local organizations to teach summer camps for kids like our underwater ROV summer camp with the Manitowoc Maritime Museum. We also participate in FIRST Robotics. This year we took students to the Wisconsin Regional in Milwaukee and Seven Rivers Regional in La Crosse. With a hands on approach, it is our mission to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting programs that build job skills and inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self confidence, communication, and leadership.
