I am asking for standing tables, balance balls, and clip boards so that my students will have more flexibility when they are completing their projects. This will allow students to find the place that fits their needs and inspires them to do their best work. Think about a time when you had a limited amount of time to complete a project. Where did you go? Did you sit at your desk at home, head to Panera and spread out on a comfortable chair, use the standing table at your local coffee shop? Everyone has a different workspace that fits their learning style. Currently, my students have one option, to sit at their desk with their chair pushed in. For some students, this is perfect! For many others, it is not conducive to their learning styles. These items will significantly increase my students options for their workspace so that everyone has the space they need to get the job done.
