The classroom is often noisy and distracting when students are using multiple laptop speakers in the classroom. Headphones help the student focus on what’s in front of them and not on all the other sounds around them. The headphones help keep the noise level at a minimum while keeping learning at a maximum. The microphones on the headphones would allow my students the opportunity to record and listen to what they have written as they create their digital portfolio using SeeSaw. Speaking is the best way to acquire language skills and once they listen to themselves they are able to know what they need to improve on. This will also allow me the opportunity to listen and assess them. Headphones are the perfect accessory to differentiate their needs in my lesson plans. These headphones will allow students to learn and complete assignments independently and efficiently. Having headphones in the classroom means enormous possibilities to enhance learning and focus. My students will truly benefit from this donation.
