I want to provide every educational opportunity to my students that is available. Several of my students are in the process of learning English vocabulary and letters. Allowing my students to have access to such resources would allow me to differentiate instruction but also be reassured that my students are continuing their learning through the technology. We need an iPad to use applications like Handwriting without Tears , Endless Numbers, and Endless ABCs. This would allow my little ones to be engaged and excited to learn each day! Kindergarten is a crucial time frame to build foundations of letter sound correspondence. My students will be the first students affected by the "Read by 3rd Grade Law" initiated by the state of Michigan. I want to make sure that my students have all of the foundational skills before moving on to first grade to ensure that they will be ready by the time they are in 3rd grade.
