Using this technology will enhance the engagement in my classroom. My students will use the Kindles to answer questions in class via educational apps. Also my students will work collaboratively in groups with the Kindles, with focus on word work, writing prompts and fluency apps. Being that my students have focus issues due to their exceptionalities, the Kindles will help draw their attention to the lesson or skill being taught. Technology is an integral part of today's work force. Our goal as teachers is to prepare our students for life. As stated, I teach in a Title 1 school and with your help you will be investing in an opportunity that my students would not normally receive.
