My classroom currently utilizes a document camera that projects images onto a pull down screen. Sadly, this set up is not interactive at all. Students quickly lose interest in lessons. With this interactive projector, the student will become the teacher! Not only will students be able to stand in front of their peers and speak about how they solved a problem or answered a question, but they will be able to work it out step by step for ALL other students to see. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student engagement and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their speaking and listening skills. Skills that are very important in the 21st Century. "We need technology in every classroom and in every student and teacher's hand, because it is the pen and paper of our time, and it is the lens through which we experience much of our world." -David Warlick.
