When this project is funded, my students will be able to use the chromebooks to take Accelerated Reader quizes on books they have read. We currently have only 2 desktop computers and students are always waiting in a line to test. They will also be able to use them to complete self paced learning on Moby Max when they finish their assigned work early. Students will be able to use the tablets for AR as well as Moby Max, but will also be able to use the QR code reader apps available to check their task cards and center work for themselves. This will help develop accountability in their independent work in a fun and engaging way. Students in my class are always looking for ways to be leaders, so utilizing this technology to be independent learners and being able to check their work on their own, will help them be those independent learners they strive to be.
