Before I can improve their writing and enhance their reading experience, I must capture their hearts and break through their ever-shrinking attention spans. I’ve spent thousands of hours counseling students in pain and encouraging students in need of guidance, but they need to hear other voices. These books will gift them with the voice of a highly relatable role model who can help them understand they are not the only ones struggling to deal with life as a teenager. Scott's story is filled with authentic stories about bullies, first crushes, family crises, and figuring out who your real friends are.
