All materials will be used in small group exploration which will allow for a more in-depth hands on learning experience, this will also permit students the time needed to explore. Letter Rockets and Alphabet folders games will allow students to match letters with the correct picture or its lower case partner while sounding out the beginning sound. Alphabet dough mats help with the recognition of the letter but also the formation. Alphabet stamps help match upper and lower case letters. Sensory experiences can be the most memorable learning experiences that a child can have. Being able to manipulate the materials will not only help my young students make a connection to what they are learning but make it more memorable.
