Over the years I've noticed how my students are very knowledgeable about technology. They absolutely love technology and are experts at various programs, more than I ever imagined. Students need various opportunities to be successful in life and it is never too early to begin preparing them. According to Code.org, the number one source of income in the United States are jobs in computer science. Therefore, it is my job as an educator to provide my students with exposure to coding. I am asking for these Osmo supplies to equip my students with STEM learning along with incorporating our Second Grade reading and math standards. Not only will Osmo strengthen my kids coding skills, but it will also provide my students opportunities to think logically and gain problem solving skills.
