The materials that I have requested will allow my students to build a touch screen tablet from the ground up. In our Computer Science Discoveries class we practice problem solving strategies with hands on partnering activities. This year our students will be creating their own Apps and personal websites. Your generous donations would help our students finish the year by building their own touchscreen tablets that they will be able to access their creations on. In previous years we have recieved donations from parents, PTO, and administration. The damage sustained to our school and community from Hurricane Irma has made these donations impossible this year. In this final project for the course, student team to develop and test a prototype for an innovative computing device based on all of the strategies and techniques learned in our Computer Science class.
