The students will have access to the Chromebooks and microphones to work in groups of four, to complete book recommendations of their book study, create a group blog, and publish a podcast that they record. The students have access to desktops, but the desktops are all located in the same area. The students have a hard time cramming into the back of the room, surrounding the computers, to make this work. As for creating a podcast, they are currently using my laptop to complete this project. I can only accommodate one group at a time. I think the kids would be much more productive if they had their own Chromebook and microphones to complete their projects.
