How many of you have spent time just listening to others and realize you have no idea what they said because you were not focused. Students have to sit in classrooms all day and try to focus on learning. I want my classroom to be a place where movement is helpful in keeping students focused. By having desks/tables where students can stand it can help them focus their attention on the lessons in the classroom. Also, many students just need something in their hands to keep them busy and by using the fidget cubes they can look their work and still stay focused.
