In order to stay engaged and excited about learning throughout the day, students with Autism need to keep their bodies regulated! Sensory items such as music (on iPods), the trampoline, pencil grips, kinetic sand, and special seating like beanbag chairs and balance balls allow for students to have their sensory needs met while also staying within the classroom setting. The goal for all of our students is to participate in the general education setting as much as they are able to! The items in this project are able to be used within the general education setting to meet the vast sensory needs of the unique students in my classroom!
