My students have access to a Legacy Maverick 4x8 CNC machine. We plan to use it to create scenery for our theatre productions as well as to collaborate with other Career and Technical Education programs in our district. Safety is the number one priority in the scene shop and these requested items will help keep my kids safe. The dust collection hose and cyclonic particle separator will be used in conjunction with a dust collector we already own to keep nasty stuff out of the air and off of the floor. The thread inserts and rubber tubing will be used to create a vacuum hold-down table so that students can design projects without fear of placing a clamp in the path of a cutter.
