Every year I try to add a new center for my students to choose from. This year, I hope to add a light table and accessories. A light table will add a new area of interest as well as expand creativity and learning opportunities where the children can explore patterns, shapes, color, opacity and color mixing. Light up tables provide a calming influence and sensory exploration which provides motivation and engaging attention for sustained periods of time. Children can expand their learning in a whole new way with this new tool in the classroom. I just know they will LOVE it!
