The materials I am requesting are what my students need to help expand and grow their minds. Having these FTC/Tetrix parts will help encourage my students to think in ways to build beyond the basic robot. Building robots will provide opportunity to follow the STEM program of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Building robots teaches my students to learn to cooperate with others and to be able to compete with "gracious professionalism." STEM real world skills are the future for today's students and tomorrow's work force! With proper funding I will be able to provide my students with the tools to succeed in school and in their future endeavors. FIRST Tech Challenge is a program that challenges students to be young engineers that could possible shape our country's technological future.
