The method books we are presently using are obsolete, falling apart, missing pages, outliving their usefulness. There is also a shortage of books for various instruments. After careful consideration, I chose the instrumental method series called "Standard of Excellence." These new method books will help create an air of excitement and wonder as the students explore the possibilities of creating music with their instruments. We will use these books everyday in class. There is even an online aspect with this curriculum where the students may practice their instruments while being accompanied online. With this new curriculum, my students can keep playing on and on and on...
