I want my classroom to come to life by allowing students to have hands-on practice on the material learned.This is the first year my school will open and A&P class, and there are zero resources for this course. Dissections are an effective way to practice essential skills and to help students visualize what they have learned. The microscope slides are also ideal for students to explore on their own and learn about the different types of tissues. Having a dissection and histology slides in class will expose students real life examples and allow them to apply their knowledge. These are almost basic requirements in an anatomy and physiology class, but due to lack of resources my classroom does not count with such assistance. I know my students would benefit so much from hands-on learning experiences!
