The arts help students with self-confidence, critical thinking skills and it gives them an outlet for artistic expression! The students have an excellent opportunity to immerse themselves into different genres of dance. By donating to my project you will give inner-city children an opportunity to accomplish something they will not otherwise be able to do. My dance students are engaged and challenged to make connections to other disciplines (ELA, Science, Social Studies and Math) as they are exposed to different styles of dance! This donation will give them a true and exciting experience in a new style of dance which relates to their culture and will cultivate their interest in the art of dance. Your donation is truly making a difference in my student's lives!
