Reading in grade 3 launches students into a whole new world of literacy. As they learn how to comprehend a story, they will engage in activities with novels that will get them into discussions, exploring characters and how their actions are affected by the story, and how to pick out the moral of the story. Novels will help students to explore reading as they get ready for middle school, high school and beyond. These materials will help them become better readers through activities that will make them question the story, analyze why people behave in a certain way and how to find what the author is teaching a reader.

About my class
