These materials are used daily in my classroom. Using plastic sleeves in math centers allows students to work on different problems, to easily erase and adjust work, and to quickly clean up and reset for the next group. Displaying important reminders and students work using Post-It paper takes the frustration out of making things stick to the wall while increasing the fun and creativity of an assignment. And any teacher will tell you about the importance of a good pencil sharpener! A new one is necessary to streamline our day and minimize disruptions in learning and working. With your donation, students will be prepared to create, present, and share information with each other throughout the year. We will create anchor charts for visual aids in learning, we will work in small groups to collaborate on assignments and share ideas, and we will engage in fun activities to practice our skills. I promote interactive work everyday in class, and through this project, we will have the necessary support to kick off a wonderful school year!
