We released our first issue of the Pioneer Magazine to help change the public perception of our school. Many people were surprised that students in an inner city could produce such a quality product, but we were not. Despite only having one laptop for 30 different collaborators to use, no dedicated camera, work-space or meeting area, we knew our challenge was great, but our mission was worth it. Having a dedicated camera and laptop will allow students to create their own content for our magazine and the smart phone application they created to push content to our students the surrounding communities.

About my class
