These materials will be highly beneficial to my students. We use Daily 5 as our framework for reading. During this time, students get to practice valuable reading and writing skills. Listening to reading is one of these skills, so a new listening center with wireless headphones would make such an important difference. As ESL students, my class needs more practice and experience with unknown vocabulary. The items requested will definitely broaden their vocabulary and, in turn, improve their reading, speaking, and writing abilities. They will get hands-on experience with new words and be able to work in small groups to complete a task.
