In my classroom, students learn English and Spanish. Unfortunately, there are not as many printed resources for the children in Spanish. The Chromebooks would provide a multitude of resources in both Spanish and English. The Chromebooks will help me accommodate slower readers and deepen the understanding of my higher achieving students all at the same small table. My students will be able to use these Chromebooks in our learning station rotations. The availability of this resource will allow students to grow in their literacy skills at their own speed. The Chromebooks would provide many outlets for learning but also for assessment. With these Chromebooks, I will be able to schedule daily rotations without worrying about sharing them with the teacher next door.
