My students LOVE working with Legos. I am excited to be able to take their building creativity to the next level by allowing my students to program their Lego creations using basic coding so that their models come to life. Computer programing is an ever growing profession. Helping my students become interested in programming at an early age will help them to discover many future career possibilities. Students will have the opportunity to "explore a series of cross-curricular, theme-based activities while developing their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics as well as language, literacy, and social studies." These kits will also help to promote teamwork and communication skills among my students.
