My students work so hard in everything they do. These 23 intelligent, hard working first graders, always have a smile on their faces despite the economic and family hardships they may face at home. We learn new concepts, skills and strategies by listening, trying independently and working with a partner. We share our knowledge with each other by having conversations and working on projects together. This first grade class loves coming to school each and every day! Just ask any of them!
