In order to keep instruction tailored to each students' needs, I teach a lot of small groups. It's very practical, but having good tables helps keep kids engaged and focused on their learning. This will help more students get the instruction that they need. More tables equals more small groups that my paraprofessional and Special education co-teacher can run. Comfortable tables for both the students and teachers will create a learning environment that fosters success. The rectangular tables are great for independent work, but the u-shaped table is much more fitting for teacher-led groups. They also help students collaborate because of their positioning. Please help my kids get the most out of their small groups!
