My students and I meet everyday, multiple times a day, on our classroom rug. Our rug is where we begin each day with one another. This is the place where students share ideas and questions and meet to engage in new activities. In addition to using the rug for whole class lessons, students also love reading independently and working in centers on our classroom rug. The rug we currently have is stained and worn down from years of use. A clean new rug would help eliminate dust mites, bed bugs, and other critters. It would also brighten up our classroom and provide a comfortable and clean place for students to learn! Students will feel so excited to enter the room each day!
