Role playing board games are a great way for students to build critical thinking skills outside of the classroom. These and the interpersonal interactions that go hand in hand with role playing board games help students develop skills they can use the rest of their lives. Role playing board games allow students create new characters and self reflect while interacting with others through games. Role playing board games also build analysis of what is going on and strategic thinking. Students are given a task or quest, and then they and the other players will have to weigh their options and discuss what is the best course of action before proceeding.
