This field trip will allow our students to explore thousands of years worth of culture from six different island nations. Most of our students' ancestors descend from one of these great nations. The evening show will expose our students to the story of Mana and Lani, Polynesian dance, music, and blazing fire knives. It will feature over 100 Polynesian natives and tell a Pacific isle saga of birth and death, love and family, tragedy and triumph. This experience will allow them to get in touch with their cultural histories and explore the cultures of other Polynesian islands. Connecting to their history and understanding their past will allow them to better understand themselves and create a better future for themselves.
