The supplies purchased will help students when talking about home life and things that families do together. When we reach our theme "My Family" we talk about many things that the children do at home such as cooking and helping mom with the baby. When they engage in these dramatic play activities they are able to experience on their own what their families go through when doing such activities. The furniture and dolls that are currently being used have a lot of wear and tear and it would be amazing to share these new items with my students. It would be a great experience that they may otherwise not experience at home since they come from low income families.
