You should see the excitement on our kindergartner's faces when they open a book and they can read the words themselves! The leveled books we are requesting for this project have specially created text that is repeated, predictable, decodable, and supported by illustrations. These magical books will become part of our leveled classroom library where they will be a daily resource for our students to practice their independent reading. The books provided by this project will support our three kindergarten classrooms adding over 50 high interest leveled books to each of their classroom libraries. Having access to this resource will help our students continue to grow and thrive as young readers.
