With the addition of the leveled readers in our classroom library, my students will have access to appropriate books on their level. Currently, 19 of my 21 students have grown at least 1 reading level. During reader's workshop, I am pulling small groups based on their reading level, and because they have grown so much - I need books that are on their level. I do not want this growth to stop. I want to make sure that they have developed a solid foundation in reading, before they are moving on to first grade. Successful reading in kindergarten, and developing a love for reading, sets up a student for success in the grades that follow. Thank you for your support
