Because of your kindness, our students—many of whom come from Title I families—will have access to meaningful learning opportunities and resources that make a real difference in their education and daily lives. Your donation is more than just supplies or materials; it is a message to our students that their futures matter and that there are people who believe in their success.\r\n\r\nOur students come to school each day carrying many responsibilities and challenges outside of the classroom. Despite these obstacles, they continue to show resilience, creativity, and determination. Your support helps create an environment where they can focus on learning, exploring new ideas, and building confidence in themselves. The resources funded through this project will help make lessons more engaging, interactive, and accessible for every student in our classroom.\r\n\r\nFor many of our students, school is not only a place for academic learning but also a safe and supportive community where they feel encouraged to grow. By contributing to this project, you are helping us provide experiences that inspire curiosity and excitement. Whether students are working collaboratively with classmates, developing critical thinking skills, or expressing themselves creatively, your generosity directly impacts their ability to succeed.\r\n\r\nYour donation also reminds our students that kindness and compassion exist beyond the walls of our school. Many of them are amazed to learn that people they have never met are willing to invest in their education. That feeling of being seen and valued is powerful. It motivates students to work harder, participate more confidently, and believe that their goals are achievable.\r\n\r\nAs educators, we strive every day to give our students the best possible opportunities, but we cannot do it alone. Community support is essential, and your partnership means so much to us. Because of you, we can enrich our classroom with tools and experiences that would otherwise be difficult to provide. The excitement on our students' faces when they learn about new materials or opportunities is truly unforgettable.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of our students, families, and school community, thank you for making this project possible. Your generosity is creating lasting memories and opening doors for students who deserve every opportunity to thrive. We are deeply grateful for your support, encouragement, and belief in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping our Bronx middle school students feel empowered, inspired, and ready to succeed. Kids are racing to read, asking for more time, and even begging to take books home. That was not always the case before.\r\n\r\nWe've been working on skills like understanding what we read, talking about characters, and making connections, but now it actually feels meaningful because they're into the books. They want to talk about them. They want to share.\r\n\r\nReading in our room looks a lot different now. Kids are recommending books to each other, reading together, and getting excited when they find something they relate to. There's just a lot more energy around it.\r\n\r\nThe biggest shift has been with some of my more reluctant readers. Kids who used to avoid reading are now picking up books on their own and getting excited about them. A big part of that is that they're finally seeing themselves in what they're reading.\r\n\r\nThank you for making that happen for them.","fullyFundedDate":1757727666141,"projectUrl":"project/adventure-laughter-and-learning-in-eve/9533767/","projectTitle":"Adventure, Laughter, and Learning in Every Book","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Cosentino","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2365285_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y239&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1660058696952","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2365285"},{"teacherId":2365285,"projectId":9143107,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the generous donation of graphic novels! We were able to discuss and share different kinds of bread that we like in our families on our \"Family Friday\" share sessions.
