During the present Covid-19 situation, the children are more isolated than ever before. We are required to stay within our cohort. Due to the separation we are only able to use the playscape 1-2 times a week. Three days a week we have recess in a large open field. We are required to bring our own equipment to play with to limit the spread of germs. All of the equipment requested will not only promote gross motor skills but it will also promote teamwork within our class. From the parachute to soccer balls and the speaker for music and movement, the kids will have plenty of activities to keep them entertained and engaged during recess. I have also included cones, a ball pump, and wagon so we can easily social distance and keep our cohort safe. I will safely store the equipment in the classroom for each time we have recess on the big field.
