The students that I will be teaching this year are in a FSC setting. Our project in this class for the school year 2021-2022 will be cleaning up our school and environment through recycling. Through this project my students will be able to learn valuable math skills like learning how to measure, estimate, determine value, and handling money. They will also be learning about science by learning about the process of recycling. I envision this project starting in our classroom and move out into the school where our efforts will help every student in our school. The bags and gloves will allow the class to collect recyclables around the school and store them to recycle at a later time. The gloves will allow the students to pick up recyclables in a safe and sanitary manner. The wire cutters will be used to clip wires to make recycle bins when we are able to obtain wires from the money that is made from the recycled bottles and cans.
