It is important, especially in science, to provide students with direct experiences to encourage thinking and understanding of a topic they are learning. Once funded, this project will allow my students to work with circuit kits to explore electricity and build simple circuits. Using these materials, my students will learn through experience and gain a functional understanding of how electric current travels in simple and parallel circuits. These kits will be used in inquiry based lessons that promote scientific reasoning and exploration. Please help my students to gain practical experience in scientific inquiry, and to become more independent thinkers and learners!
