I would really love to have a set of tablets for the students in my classroom. We would use them to help teach English to ELL students, and to help all students learn to read. The students in my classroom are very underprivileged and do not have access to technology at home. Having tablets in the classroom will allow them to get necessary supplemental instruction to help with phonics and learning the alphabet. There are many free apps to help students with reading.
